Lieutenant Colonel (Lt Col) George Radford Warfe, MC (later DSO). Lt Col Warfre was the Commanding Officer of 58/59th Infantry Battalion. He enlisted on 8 November 1939 at South Melbourne, Victoria. His posting at discharge was with 2/3 Independent Company on 28 February, 1946.
