Main, Charles Teesdale (Lieutenant, b.? - d.1917)
Description
Collection relating to the service of Lieutenant Charles Main of 35th Battalion. Collection consists of typed extracts of fairly detailed letters that describe the voyage from Australia, camp life at Larkhill, England and service in France. Also includes two extracts from Lieutenant Colonel H. A. Goddard letters describing Main's death at Passchendaele. The collection covers period June 1916 - April 1918.
