Elliott, Thomas Patrick (Major, b.1894 - d.1916)
Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of Major Thomas Patrick Elliott, 60th Battalion. Collection consists of a letter written by Elliott to his sister on 19 July 1916, regarding the upcoming assault at Fromelles. Major Elliott was killed in action later that same day. Also included in the collection is a summary of Elliott's service and an account of his death, written by Brigadier General Pompey Elliott.
