Description

Collection relating to the service of Private Reginald John Sanders. The collection consists of correspondence (including a number of embroidered silk postcards) from Sanders to his family from Moore Park camp, while training in England and on active service in France. Also included is a sympathy letter following Sanders death. The notebook contains poems and songs popular amongst the troops during the First World War. The collection includes two photographs, one of Private Sanders in uniform with another unidentified soldier and an official photograph of Private Sanders' grave
