Location statements and order of battle, AIF units.
Description
Collection consists of: order of battle and location statements for AIF units, arranged by Division, including movements, locations and dates of arrival and departure, 1940-45; list of units under command of Eighth British Army from 23 October 1942 to 17 November 1942 - 9 Australian Division; supplementary list of AIF units and locations in the Middle East; and list of units which served overseas during the Second World War. This last list appears to have been compiled to assist in the marshalling of participants at Anzac Day marches in Melbourne.
