Collection of correspondence and transcripts of interviews related to the research of historian Jeffrey Grey on the Korean War, 1950-1953.
Wallet 1 of 1 - collection consists of two folders of transcripts and correspondence between Grey and several senior Commonwealth and United States military figures involved in the United Nations operations in the Korean War. Grey examines the degree of interoperability and relations between the various Commonwealth units, particularly Australia, Canada and New Zealand, over the period of the war. The collection includes transcripts of interviews with Colonel Bruce Ferguson, Major General Ronald Hughes, Lieutenant General Sir Richard Webb, Brigadier Maurice Austin, Brigadier John Burns, Colonel Ralph Porter, Lieutenant General Frank Fleury, and Brigadier Max Tebutt, as well as correspondence with Bryan Gandevia, Brigadier George Taylor, Lieutenant General Sir Thomas Daly, General Sir Athur MacDonald, and Field Marshal Sir James Cassels.
