Pitty, Desmond S (Alias Richards, David J) (Private, 9th Bn, AIF d.1916)
Description
Four page black and white photcopy of diary manintained by Pitty (who served as Pte David J Richards) from his departure from Brisbane, through passage to Egypt, transfer to France, and camp in the Strazeele area. He was Killed In Action on 20 April 1916, most probably by the bullet which also damaged the diary.
