Collection relating to service of 1916 Lance Corporal James Boe, 1 Light Trench Mortar Battery, Gallipoli and France, 1915-1916. Collection includes copies of letters describing active service written home to family in Scotland. Copies made 1928 by Australia House, London on behalf of Australian War Memorial. Location of originals unknown. Boe died on 20 July 1916.
