Biographical note: 2nd Lieutenant, 32nd Bn, AIF. Killed at Passchendaele, 22 October 1917. School teacher of Terowie, South Australia, born Terowie, educated at Muirden College, Adelaide; joined AIF 21 July 1915; age at time of death, 22 years.
