Description
Collection relating to the World War 2 service of Sister Jessie Simons, POW at Palembang Women's Camp. Collection consists of a hand-written music book used for concerts at Palembang Women's POW Camp; issues of the "Camp Chronicle"; a printed copy of "Sumatran Diary", based on the notes of misisonary Margaret Dryburgh; and newspaper clippings re Wilma Young (nee Oram) who was a rice cook at the POW camp.
