Description
Collection relating to the First World War service of 136 Private Edward George Lay, 8 Battaion. Collection consists of a photocopy of a diary kept by Lay covering experiences en route to Egypt aboard the 'Benalla', service on the peninsula, movement to France, hospitalization in England and eventual medical discharge.
