Biographical note: 2477B Sergeant Leonard Lancelot Rundle, 48 Battalion, AIF, who died in Birmingham, Warwickshire, on 23 August 1918 of wounds received at Monument Wood (Villers Bretonneux). Other biographical details concerning him are: farmer; of Kilpara, South Australia; born Kilpara, educated at Kilpara State School; joined the AIF on 4 July 1916; age at time of death, 24 years 8 months.
