Description
An unidentified Australian signals operator of the Australian Force Communications Unit (FCU) contingent to the United Nations Transitional Authority in Cambodia (UNTAC), operates a handset. On his right are three 'Raven' series field radio units in their field racks - the receiver/transmitter sits on top of the rack, while the power and amplifier gear are placed below. Each radio is dedicated to a particular network and each is labelled accordingly: that on the left to 'UNTAC Comd (Command) Net', the middle one to 'UNTAC Obsvr (Observer) NET', while the right hand one is unclear. A number of forms, rosters and other paperwork are pinned to the wall to the operator's right.
