Description
Canadian First World War poster issued by the Canadian Government to promote the sale of Victory Bonds. It depicts a large arm inscribed with the words 'Victory Loan' reaching down out of a clear blue sky, holding dollar bills and coins in its hand. Coins fall from the hand onto fields, houses and a city with multistory buildings and a factory. Above the rising sun in the background is inscribed the word 'Prosperity'. The image fills the whole with the title in the upper left. A French language version of this poster was also issued. (See ARTV00484)
