Description
Canadian First World War poster issued by the Canadian Government to promote the sale of Victory Bonds. It depicts a large arm inscribed with the words 'Victory Loan' reaching down out of a clear blue sky, holding dollar bills and coins in its hand. Coins fall from the hand onto fields, houses and a city with multistory buildings and a factory. Above the rising sun in the background is inscribed the word 'Prosperity'. The image fills the whole with the title in the upper left. An English language version of this poster was also issued. (See ARTV00483)
