Description

An Advanced Dressing Station known as 'Pearl Bay ADS'. The station was under the control of 6th Australian Field Ambulance from 8 May 1918 to 15 June 1918 before being handed over to the 14th Australian Field Ambulance. It was through this Dressing Station that most of the wounded from Ville-sur-Ancre-Stunt passed through. The bomb proof dressing room is in the centre, the shelved dug-outs on the right are for wounded awaiting attention, and the dug-outs for personnel and the officers quarters are on the far right. In the foreground (far left) is a water carrier with a cylindrical water purifer.
