Papers of Staff Sergeant William Lionel Denzil Bartlett Day, including four small diaries recounting his experiences in the Dental Units of the AIF from July 1942 - February 1946. The diary entries begin in 1939, with the majority covering the period 1944 - 1945 after Day's unit landed at Balikpapan. Other items in the collection include a map outlining the Balikpapan campaign, service records and a transcript of the original diaries.
