Portrait of Colin Joseph Whiston
Description
Informal Portrait of 3787607 Private (Pte) Colin Joseph Whiston in his summer polyester uniform, holding a 7.62 mm Self Loading Rifle (SLR). Pte Whiston served in Vietnam in No. 1 Australian Reinforcement Unit (1ARU) and the 6th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment (6RAR). Pte Whiston was killed in action 18 August 1966 and is buried in the Crib Point Cemetery in Victoria.
