Description
The remains of 6750 Private Sydney James Sullivan, who died of disease at the 3rd Australian General Hospital at Abbeville on 14 October 1918, being carried by his comrades to the wagon for conveyance to the Military portion of the Abbeville cemetery. The coffin is covered with a Union Jack flag and the slouch hats of the six pallbearers are on top of the coffin as they carry it down the road past a guard of honour to a waiting wagon.
