Description
A bridge built alongside a destroyed German brick arch bridge over a railway cutting. This bridge, built by the 12th Field Company of Australian Engineers, was constructed mainly of salvaged German rolled steel joists and timber. It had a total span of 86 feet, a height of 32 feet, and an axle strength of 14 tons and was completed on 28 September 1918.
