Description

The Prince of Wales standing outside the 'Ste Ouvriere St Francois-Xavier' building, about to leave Chatelet after having visited troops of the 1st Australian Division billeted in the area. Major-General (Maj Gen) Sir J J Talbot Hobbs (Australian Corps Commander) and Maj Gen T W Glasgow (right) are seen shaking hands. Two staff cars are waiting in front of the building. The one on the left is a Rolls Royce and that to the left has fur lined travelling rugs on its rear seat. The words 'full house' have been chalked onto doors at left and many townspeople are watching proceedings.
