Description
The original grave marker, covered in flowers, of 2967 Trooper (Tpr) Archibald Allan Stokes, 4th Imperial Australian Camel Corps, of Newcastle, NSW. Tpr Stokes enlisted on 20 January 1917 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Boorana on 10 May 1917. He died of illness in Egypt on 20 August 1918 aged 25 years.
