A group of French, American and Australian soldiers gathered in a trench at the International Post. Identified in the back row, centre, is 740 Lance Corporal William Methven, 37th Battalion. The post was established at the junction of the French and Australian lines in the trenches near Monument Wood, on the right of Villers-Bretonneux.
