Description
A bridge across a fast running stream constructed to carry heavy traffic. The foundation of the bridge was made by placing sacks of cement in the water and securing them by piles. A sign in the background (far right) reads 'Dead Slow'. Note the shell damaged building on the left and the debris along the banks of the stream.
