Description
Papers of Dr C R B Richards, MBE OAM ED, covering the period of Richard's Second World War service as a medical officer with the 2/15th Field Regiment. The diaries and correspondence (1942-1943) relate chiefly to Richard's time as a prisoner of war in Changi, Burma and Japan. Includes meticulous medical records on the condition of unit members in the prisoner of war camps. Other records relate to Richard's post-war career, including his presidency of the 2/15th Field Regiment unit association; photographs and research materials relating to the writing of 'The survival factor'.
