Description

Tapes 1-4 contain: Dr Charles Rowland Bromley Richards MBE OAM ED interviewed by Clay Blair . Recorded in Australia c1977-78.
Dr Richards served with his unit in Malaya and Singapore and was subsequently a prisoner of war in Changi, Burma, Saigon and Japan. During this time he kep conprehensive diaries and meticulous medical reports on the condition of unit members.

Tapes 5-6 contain: an interview between CRB (Rowley) Richards, Joan and Clay Blair where they discuss the ideas for, and draft of, the book "Survivial Factor". Conducted at the home of Joan and Clay Blair in Florida, USA in 1989.
