Description
Victory Medal. Impressed around edge with recipient's details. Incorrectly mounted with REL29645.001 (British War Medal 1914-20) on a short bar with a safety pin stitched to the back.
History / Summary
Associated with 18709 Private Samuel Gray, 6 Field Ambulance, AIF. Gray was born in Glasgow, Scotland, and had pre war Territorial service with the 2nd Lowland Field Ambulance, RAMC. He enlisted in the AIF on 1 May 1917, and returned to Australia after the war. He died in 1962.
