Thanks to the navy we sell our tin and rubber
Description
This Malayan Second World War poster depicts four ships, including an aircraft carrier, probably taken from a floatplane or amphibious aircraft. The poster thanks the navy for their role in defending their country and hence enabling them to continue to sell their natural resources such as tin and rubber. Despite giving thanks to the navy, the poster forewarns that now they must fight "the battle for Britain".
