Never was so much owed by so many to so few
Description
The quote "never was so much owed by so many to so few" is taken from a speech made by Prime Minister Winston Churchill on 20 August 1940. The quote refers to the ongoing effort of the Royal Air Force against the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain (10 July - 31 October 1940). This phrase was used by Churchill after uttering words to a similar effect following a visit to RAF Uxbridge four days earlier. The poster features five airmen in slightly differing uniforms - as a group they perhaps represent a flight crew of a bomber aircraft - and above them Churchill's quote in white.
