Preparing to tow the smuggling ship back into shore
Description
Figures of men laying out rope ready to tow the smuggling ship when it comes alongside. Peter Churcher recalled, "In this drawing some of the crew are laying out the rope which will be used to tow the smuggling ship behind the HMAS Kanimbla. The smuggling ship is looming large behind in the background. The towing line had been connected to the front of the ship and once the towing line has been properly laid out the towing of the ship can commence".
