Description
Dagger made from a table knife by a member of the crew of a smuggling vessel in the Persian Gulf. The dagger was taken by a member of a Royal Australian Navy boarding party.
History / Summary
This dagger was made by a member of the crew of MV Zarkaat (or Zarkat), a smuggling vessel in the Persian Gulf. The vessel was intercepted by a Canadian boarding party in early February 2002 and then handed over to HMAS Kanimbla who towed it to Abu Dabi and the United Arab Emirates coast guard .
