Collection relating to Thomas Charles Kelso
Description
The original grave and marker of 2361 Private Pte Roy Munro, of Victoria, a driver with 3rd Australian Pioneers, Pte Munro enlisted at Collingwood, Vic, on 29 May 1916 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Karroo on 18 September 1916. He was killed in action on 6 September 1918. Note the steel helmet with bullet hole, a Short Magazine Lee Enfield rifle, two bayonet scabbards and other webbing items at the base of the grave.
