Description
The original grave marker in the form of a celtic cross of Lieutenant (Lt) Francis Rupert Johnson, of Kew, Vic, 58th Battalion. Lt Johnson enlisted at South Yarra on 2 September 1916 and embarked from Melbourne aboard HMAT Themistocles (A32) on 4 August 1917. He was killed in action on 29 September 1918 on the Western Front.
