Demob suit trousers : Sergeant L H Black, RAAF
Description
Pair of grey wool pinstripe trousers. The front pleated trousers have a concealed button fly closure secured at the waistband by two buttons. Two fabric tabs with belt buckles are on each hip for tightning the fit. There are two slash style pockets at the hips and an inset back pocket on the right side. The trousers have a thin blue and cream pinstripe, centre crease and turned up cuffs.
History / Summary
These suit trousers were issued to Sergeant Lyndsay Hindmarsh Black on his demobilisation from the RAAF. Sgt Black enlisted in late 1941 and served in radar stations in Townsville and Corrumbin, Queensland.
