Description
Papers of W/20608 Dorothy Evelyn Dray who served with the British Army Transport Service (ATS) between 1939 and 1943. The collection includes Dray's National registration Identity card, Clothing book, Ration book and Soldier's Service. As part of her service Dray was involved with welcoming soldiers returning from the Dunkirk evacuation at Addison Road Station, London, by handing out pies, buns and tea. Dray migrated to Australia after the war.
