Description
Studio portrait of 2032 Private (Pte) James Herbert Campbell, 3rd Reinforcements, 60th Battalion (Bn), of Abbotsford, Vic. Pte Campbell enlisted on 18 November 1915 and embarked aboard HMAT Port Lincoln in Melbourne on 4 May 1916. While serving with the 60th Bn in France he was wounded in action twice, first on 18 May 1917 and later on 9 August 1918. Pte Campbell returned to Australia on 20 November 1918. See also DA13893.
