Canadian front line skirmishers on the flank of the Australian troops, working with a tank of 13th Battalion, which had just silenced an enemy machine gun in a hedge. During the interval between the taking of E02881 and this frame, twelve men in the vicinity of the camera were wounded by machine gun fire.
