Description
An exterior view of the rear of a shell damaged church, taken looking out through ruins. The town was heavily shelled at frequent intervals and the church was badly damaged by many direct hits. Continued artillery fire later reduced the building even further. Note an unidentified flag flying from the top of the left tower.
