An outdoors group portrait of unidentified members of the 3rd Australian Machine Gun Battalion draft of the 34th Quota. In the background is the village of Gamaches and the railway by which the quota departed for the Demobilsation Base before their repatriation to Australia. Note the several children on the far left.
