Description
The American Cemetery in which men of the 27th and 30th American Divisions were buried. The men were killed in an attack, made in conjunction with the 3rd and 5th Australian Divisions, on the main Hindenburg Line on the 29 September 1918. Several people are gathered in and around the cemetery. In the foreground (right) is an unidentified Australian soldier and damaged horse drawn wagons and other debris (centre). In the background (left) is a tent camp.
