Panoramic view of the battlefield east of Ypres from Dadizeele (Dadizele) to Wervicq (Wervik), taken from a gun position known as Clapham Junction. The soil int e foreground appears to be torn by shell holes, and a trench runs across it. Beyond are the shattered remains of a hedge or wood.
