Our citizen soldiers
Description
A promotional film on the Citizen Military Forces featuring men from the 1st Battalion Royal Tasmanian Regiment. Individuals named and shown are: Major Ray Milton, Major Bruce Riddle, Doug Turner, Sergeant Gary Sidebottom, Staff Sergeant Terry Shearing, Staff Sergeant Jim Burr, Chris Bowen, Sergeant Ray Cooper, Sergeant Don Butler, Lance Corporal Rod Williams and Private Carl Brown. Shows members of the regiment on a weekend bush wack in a district where limestone caves have been dicovered. The soldiers are called by the Police Emergency Rescue Unit to assist in rescuing an injured bushwalker from a cave.
