Camp concert (Syria)
Description
Syria, 1941. This concert was arranged by the troops for the troops. The organiser was NX12498 Lieutenant John James Talbot of the 7th Division Ammunition Park and the show was held in their camp. Open air stage, the setting was arranged and backdrops painted by Sergeant Stevenson who also featured in the concert as an Oriental dancer. Personnel identified are: John Warren (ex ABC vocal artist), Driver R Dumbar, VX31511 Corporal Howard Henry Miller, Sergeant A Hunt, NX31702 Driver Roy Hancy Collins.
