Australian troops land at Tol Plantation
Description
Australian troops land unopposed from small landing craft on to a beach at Tol Plantation. Wire mesh ramps are assembled across sandy beach; mine detection; domestic shots showing troops settling in, eating, etc. General Sir Thomas Blamey, C-in-C, arrives by motor launch to inspect area with Maj.-Gen. Ramsay G.O.C. 5th Australian Division and other unidentified senior officers.
