2/9th Australian Armoured Regiment at Morotai; waterproofing equipment and vehicles; general maintenance and modification of Matilda tanks; breech-testing ammunition to ensure that there are no bulged cases. All these preparations were for the landings on Brunei Bay area, North Borneo.
