Description

RAF Bomber Command Operational Film No 249 daylight attack on München-Gladbach 27 December 1944. Film unit aircraft Lancaster (code L) of 463 Sqn RAAF piloted by Flight Lieutenant Skelton. Camera 1 Flight Sergeant Buckland. Cameras 2&3 Flying Officer Rogers. Filmed from height of 22000 ft at 14.59. Camera 1 shows long shot of Lancaster formation approaching and over target which is marked by smoke. Long shots of bomb explosions. Camera 2 shot of bombs dropping from film unit aircraft.
