Interview with Miltary Medal winner DPR/TV/1270
Description
Two Australian soldiers who braved heavy enemy fire to rescue five mates trapped in a blazing armoured personnel carrier in South Vietnam, were recently awarded the Military Medal for bravery. One of the soldiers, 2789945 Lance Corporal Barry Keith Coe of Penrith, NSW, is still serving in South Vietnam with 8th Battalion, The Royal Australian Regiment. Soon after being told of the award he was interviewed by Army Reporter, 2784120 Captain David Brown.
