Brook Island trials (MC30)
Description
This film portrays a Mustard Gas attack carried out on Brook Island under the direction of the following officers. Commanding Officer Lieutenant Colonel F S Gorill; Officer in charge of the trial Dr A H Ennor, Munitions Supply Laboratories; Physiology Mr J W Legge, Munitions Supply Laboratories; Chemistry Mr C H Purkis; Meteorolgy Mr F Pasquill CDES Porton; Transport Captain H E Skipper CWS Edgewood Arsenal. Assisted by officers and men of the Australian Military Forces, RAAF, United States Amphibian Engineers and by women of the Australian Women's Army Service and Australian Army Medical Women's Service.
