Shooting in New Guinea the concluding scenes for Mr Charles Chauvel's film Rats of Tobruk
Description
With the co-operation of Australian New Guinea Administrative Unit (ANGAU), about 50 native carriers under the control of Captain Keinzle, were made available, and 'A' company, less one platoon from 2/9 Australian Infantry Battalion, 18 Australian Infantry Brigade were also used in final scenes for 'Rats of Tobruk', filmed by cameraman Mr George Heath.
