VX1 General Sir Thomas Albert Blamey GBE KCB CMG DSO ED headed the Victory Day march parade of service men and women and allied services through the streets of Melbourne, VIC. The salute was taken on the steps of Parliament House by the Lieutenant Governor of Victoria. VX15 Lieutenant General Sir Edmund Francis Herring KBE DSO MC ED.
